Skate Kingston’s qualifications for STAR A, B & C are based on STAR points outlined below.

Note: This point system continues similarly to STAR 10
Skaters can have different levels (points) for the different disciplines of FreeSkate, Skills and Dance – but must have certain overall total points for qualification for the sessions. In addition to the total points to be on a session, skaters must have completed certain tests to qualify.
For example, to qualify for STAR B, the skater must have completed all STAR 1 tests for FreeSkate, Skills and Dance for a total of 3 points; in addition, the skater must have completed at least two STAR 2 tests for an addition 2 points (5 points in total).
