Skate Kingston Learn to Skate Programs offer Skate Canada sanctioned recreational programs with NCCP Certified
Professional Coaches.
It is never too late to learn to skate! Adults (and teenagers) ages 12 and above can enjoy learning to skate in a relaxed
and friendly group lesson atmosphere. This is a 45 minute session combining both a group lesson and time for the
skater to practise. Skaters receive ongoing incentives and a report card.
Adult skating is growing in popularity and more and more clubs are offering recreational, test and competitive
opportunities to this segment of the population. Adults participate in CanSkate, STARSkate and CanPowerSkate
programs as well as on synchronized skating teams. Adult championships currently provide opportunities to adult skaters to experience the challenge of a competition in a fun, social environment.
